The American Silver Eagle (ASE) is the official bullion coin of the United States Mint, first issued in 1986 and produced every year since through 2026.
Every Silver Eagle carries the same inscriptions: In God We Trust, United States of America, 1 OZ. Fine Silver, One Dollar. These coins were never released into circulation, so that face value is essentially meaningless. They trade on their silver content or, in some cases, their collector demand. All standard issues share the same design: Lady Liberty on the obverse and an eagle with shield on the reverse and just an eagle since 2021.

Individual Silver Eagles
People collect them in many ways , mixed dates, solid date runs, or a complete album from 1986 to present. We buy them all.
Tubes
An original roll of 20 coins in a green-lid or orange-lid tube. Leave them sealed and do not handle the coins individually. Intact tubes sometimes bring more than loose coins.
Graded Silver Eagles
PCGS, NGC and CACG have certified millions of ASEs with designations covering first day of issue, special signatures, reverse proofs, burnished finishes, and more. Some labels matter significantly to value; others do not. We can sort that out for you.
Proof Silver Eagles
Originally sold by the Mint in navy, dark blue, or burgundy presentation boxes. A complete set includes the outer cardboard box, felt clamshell case, paperwork, and the coin sealed in a hard plastic capsule. Keep everything together and original. Proof examples are currently selling above standard bullion Silver Eagles.
Monster Boxes
The large factory-sealed boxes containing 500 coins, almost always green. If yours has a white strap around it, leave it intact. An original unbroken strap adds a small premium to the sale.
